The Grille at Back Creek: An Unforgettable Dining Experience in Middletown, DE

Amazing food! My boyfriend and I Had the coconut fried scallops, seafood bisque and he had the surf and turf steak was AMAZING I had portabello filet. Steak was pretty good but mushrooms were to die for. And the desserts were DECADENT. Service was wonderful and had a fire going with lovely country music. Will be sure to come back soon!

A friend told us about Back Creek Grill about 2 years ago. We loved it from day one. The food has always been excellent. We have never had a bad meal or a bad experience. The service is always friendly. If you like to have dinner during prime hours, make reservations.

Me and the frat boys came here from university of Delaware and we had an amazing time here. We sat outside because we like to eat shirtless because that is what us frat boys do. We got burgers, shrimp and steak everything was so good and tasty. We will certainly be returning again soon for some more good food and outdoor seating. All the staff here is super friendly and nice ! If u look at the picture u can see me and Cody hanging out shirtless. We were not at the restaurant in this picture but we were playing bowling .

Very pleasant atmosphere. Service was excellent...friendly. Food delicious and Kevin, the bartender, makes awesome drinks.

I ordered the Pickle Chips & Cajun Chicken Alfredo. Both were very good. I did enjoy the flavor of the Pasta. The staff was very professional and fast.

My husband, son and I dined on a Friday night in January. Kevin our bartender/waiter made the best Tequila Bloody Mary; the way that I make it at home is different but he put a wonderful spin on the ingredients. I ordered the medium rare flank steak (cooked to perfection) with pasta, absolutely delicious with just the right amount of pesto sauce. One of best meals I've had in a long time; the ambiance is perfect.

**WAS NOT EXPECTING EVERYTHING TO TASTE AH-MAZING** We came here for mother's day brunch. The hostess was quick to seat us. Our waitress was very attentive, polite and professional. The menu was very reasonably priced so we ordered several things. We got the steak and eggs, blueberry lemon french toast, crabcake benedict and cinnamon roll bread pudding. Steak was cooked perfectly to order, very tender and flavorful especially for medallions. The french toast was soooo good and the cream cheese filling set it off! My absolute favorite was the crabcake benedict. I'm not too crazy about runny eggs so I had them scramble it. Every single bite was DE-LICI-OUS! The crab cake was fresh, seasoned well, full of crab meat. The sausage and bacon was very good. The bacon tasted like it was smoked. The bread pudding tasted like a cinnamon bun from the mall. It was really good but I'm not too crazy about cinnamon buns. But overall everything was GREAT!

Always go there on Wednesday for trivia. We go so often the bartenders have our drinks before we need to order. The chef is very good They have a burger called Irish Car Bomb yummy. Bartenders are good at what they do and are always friendly.
